Overview

Are you looking for a new role where you can make a positive impact on peoples lives? Here at Discovery, we are looking for Support Workers to join the team in Yeovil. Working at our homely Supported Living Service, you will enhance the quality of life of the four individuals who live there by empowering their independence. Discovery Support Workers do not need prior experience in Health or Social Care as full training is given.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with day-to-day tasks to promote independence, including but not limited to finances, shopping, cooking and personal care.
  • Support with trips to day services (note: you would not be required to support at the day service).
  • Visits to pubs and other social activities.
  • Watching football matches.
  • Attending Church.
