The Discovery School is an outstanding and popular, three form entry school, beautifully situated in large, attractive grounds in the heart of the development of Kings Hill. We have recently been inspected by Ofsted (February 2023) and have been judged to be Outstanding in all areas, including overall effectiveness.
The children of The Discovery School are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking, fun and caring Lunchtime Supervisor to help them thrive at lunchtime. The role of a Lunchtime Supervisor at The Discovery School is crucial for children\'s social and emotional development, as lunchtimes are a key part of the school day.

- Positive and enthusiastic about the importance of children’s play
- A team player with a \'can-do\' attitude who shows professionalism when undertaking all aspects of the role
- Able to work well under direction but can use your own initiative
- Able to lead and engage in play with children from 4-11 years
- Able to build positive relationships with children and staff and communicate effectively
- Able to support children positively with their lunchtime manners and routines
- Willing to learn new strategies and implement change to further develop provision at lunchtimes

Responsibilities
- Engage with children during lunchtimes to support social and emotional development
