This is a rewarding weekend role supporting people across two friendly homes in Cheddar, where every day is different and full of opportunities to make a real impact. You'll be supporting a small group of adults, aged between their 50s and 70s, each with their own personalities, interests, and support needs. Your role will involve providing personal care, supporting with eating and drinking, and promoting health and wellbeing. You'll also help people stay active and engaged - whether that's trips out, visiting friends and family, enjoying hobbies like art, discos, or horse riding, or helping care for much-loved pets including chickens, ducks, and guinea pigs. You might also be supporting someone to attend a club, encouraging independence with daily living skills, or helping someone try something new in the community.
