Your New Role A key position within Warner Bros. Discovery's P&C team, the Director, P&C will manage a team of P&C partners and influence leadership to provide solutions to employee-related matters. This position will continuously challenge the status quo and develop initiatives that ensure Warner Bros. Discovery remains an employer of choice. The Director, P&C will be a positive self-starter who can think strategically about big picture business goals as well as tactically execute a full range of P&C initiatives.In this dynamic culture, the role will serve as the primary partner to the business and the liaison with the broader HR community of Warner Bros. Discovery. Candidates for this position should be innovative, solution-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and able to engage with colleagues across all levels, locations, and disciplines. Your Role Accountabilities

  • Define the local People Strategy in line with top business priorities, including supporting business expansions and development. Identify opportunities to refine the wider WBD P&C strategy and approach to meet the unique needs of a frontline and operational workforce.
  • Build a high-performing, motivated workforce and leadership pipeline.
  • Lead Employee Relations matters, in partnership with the People Relations team, providing pragmatic and commercial solutions.
  • Coach managers to proactively manage employees (e.g., performance and attendance) and provide advice to resolve grievance and disciplinary issues.
  • Attend business leader meetings – maintaining a pulse on business needs and communicating P&C programs/initiatives, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Leverage data (qualitative and quantitative) to identify trends that help to inform P&C strategies and proactive solutions.
  • Foster a culture of inclusiveness, openness, and honesty within the organization, along with championing organisational values and diversity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven HR experience within a fast-paced, heavily matrixed environment, supporting complex and diverse client groups. Adept at conflict resolution and organisational management.
  • An innovative thinker who can respectfully challenge and build on the ideas of peers and deliver results.
  • Experienced people manager, able to lead with confidence, honesty, and integrity.
  • Expert listener & communicator, who can understand the needs of a variety of stakeholders and deliver information and insights quickly with an appropriate level of detail and correct pitch/tone for the audience.
  • High executive presence with the ability to exert influence within the organization by clearly expressing goals and initiatives that garner buy-in and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a competitive and changing business landscape; planning for tomorrow, whilst effectively executing today.

Hybrid Working – This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
