We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team in Bath or London (must be within an hour of either office location). As a Quality Engineer, you will work closely with the Discovery Education product scrum team and other Quality Engineers to design, develop, execute and maintain automation tests, manual tests, test data, and test scripts.

In This Role You Will:
- Work as part of a scrum team consisting of product owner, project manager, and developers
- Understand the application under test, the various features, integration areas that require collaboration with other scrum teams and Quality Engineers
- Collaborate with senior Quality Engineers to design and develop automated tests as well as manual tests
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient automated test code in accordance with best practices
- Participate in automated test code review and contribute to team discussions on software test design and architecture
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging automated tests to resolve issues
- Write manual tests to update the existing test scenarios checklist
- Create test data in various test environments to match the automated test scenario or manual test
- Create defects when identified through manual or automation testing and follow up with the scrum team for prioritization as well as resolution
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Support the team in maintaining and improving existing automated tests as well as existing regression test checklists
- Work with a geographically diverse team. On occasion, you may need to slightly shift hours to collaborate with your global teammates.

Credentials and Experience:
- 2+ years QA experience
- Experience working with Selenium Webdriver
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom
- Ability to travel to the Bath or London office within one hour
- This role is designed to be office-based 3 days a week in Bath or one day a week if London based.
The Bath office has stairs only as an old, listed building, so please advise us of any support you would need when interviewing.
