We are looking for a highly skilled 3D Artist to support the creation of visually compelling assets and environments for interactive learning experiences. This role plays a key part in shaping the artistic vision of projects, ensuring visual quality and consistency across multiple platforms.
Working closely with designers, engineers, and product teams, the 3D Artist brings concepts to life through modelling, texturing, and lighting that engage and inspire users. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines and contribute creatively to products that reach a global audience.
In This Role You Will
- Asset Creation and Design
- Creating high-quality 3D models, textures, and materials for characters, environments, and props.
- Ensuring all assets align with established art direction and technical specifications.
- Applying lighting and rendering techniques to achieve the desired mood and atmosphere.
- Collaboration and Workflow
- Collaborating with designers, Unity engineers, and animators to integrate assets into real-time applications.
- Working closely with the Product owners to refine visual styles and meet project goals.
- Optimization and Technical Execution
- Optimizing assets for performance across WebGL, iOS, and Android platforms.
- Maintaining efficient file organization, naming conventions, and version control.
- Troubleshooting and refining visual issues within Unity or other real-time engines.
- Continuous Improvement
- Staying current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in 3D art and real‑time rendering.
- Contributing creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling and user experience.
- Leading Projects
- Leading the visual development of 3D assets and environments from concept to final implementation.
- Managing art production schedules and deliverables in coordination with project leads and producers.
- Overseeing asset integration and optimization within Unity.
- Guiding consistency in art direction, materials, and lighting across projects and platforms.
- Collaborating with designers and engineers to ensure assets meet technical and performance standards.
- Using tools such as Blender and Substance Painter to streamline asset creation and workflow efficiency.

Credentials and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in 3D Art, Game Art, Animation, or related field.
- 3+ years of industry experience in games, interactive media, or similar industries.
- Proficiency in Blender, ZBrush & Substance Suite.
- Familiarity with Unity for asset integration.
- Understanding of optimization for mobile and browser-based platforms.
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
This role is primarily remote, with occasional in‑person attendance required for team meetings, workshops, or company events. The hiring range for this position is between £35,000 - £39,400 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for an Annual Bonus.
