OurHLTA/Lead Teaching Assistants
Ourlead teaching assistants come from various backgrounds, for example, carehomes, mainstream education and healthcare settings. ASC, SEMH or AP experiencemay be an advantage but is not essential. Our only requirement is Level 2English and Maths.

Youwill be responsible for:
- managingclasses of around nine students
- leadingteaching assistants
- organisingthe classroom
- maintainingregular contact with parents and carers
- organisingtrips and visits for your class
- monitoringand reviewing short-term targets
- coveringlessons in the absence of a teacher
- Comprehensive induction and ongoingtraining and support.
