I have partnered with a leading, growing technology company with a focus on innovative platforms for experience bookings. They are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to work alongside the Lead Platform Engineer to build their technology roadmap in GCP, migrate from Oracle Cloud and build a scalable, highly available and cost efficient platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must have 6+ years of experience
- Must have significant GCP experience as they are migrating from Oracle Cloud to GCP
- Must have experience with Micro-service architecture
- Must have worked in a high-volume and high-transactional company
- Has worked on IAC tools like Terraform or Pulumi
- Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using best practices
- Provision and manage cloud resources with Terraform, Pulumi or similar (Infrastructure as Code)
- Deploy and operate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
- Implement and manage GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD or Flux
- Monitor system health and performance with Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver), Prometheus, and Grafana
- Manage network architecture, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, and load balancers
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
