About the Company
We are partnering with an established, fast-growing London fintech building a cloud-native SaaS platform for corporate finance and liquidity management. They are currently scaling their core infrastructure and developer platform to support expanding global client operations.
Role Overview
As a Platform Engineer, you will join a core engineering team responsible for designing, operating, and scaling cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical role focused on platform reliability, container orchestration, CI/CD automation, and identity governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud & Containers: Build and maintain Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and operate production Kubernetes (AKS) environments.
- Identity & Access: Manage Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, and access governance across cloud resources.
- Automation & Pipelines: Create scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to automate routine operational tasks and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Observability & Security: Implement production monitoring, logging, and alerting systems while maintaining platform security and compliance alignment (SOC2 / ISO 27001).
Key Requirements
- Proven experience managing Azure cloud environments and AKS (Kubernetes).
- Hands-on proficiency with Terraform and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Entra ID, RBAC, and cloud security best practices.
