Job Description
About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Health Economic Modeller to take on a senior, hands-on consulting role focused on shaping healthcare strategy and policy through quantitative insight.
This is a chance to use your analytical expertise and leadership to influence decisions across global health systems — from clinical interventions to health policy initiatives.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, purpose-driven team that values curiosity, precision, and creativity. If you thrive on solving complex health challenges and want to see your work directly inform real-world outcomes, this role offers both scope and impact.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Health Economist (Modeller), you will:
- Design, build, and validate health economic models to support decision-making across diverse healthcare settings.
- Provide strategic input and technical guidance on economic evaluations, cost-effectiveness analyses, and policy models.
- Lead the interpretation and presentation of findings through reports, publications, and client engagement sessions.
- Partner with a wide range of organisations — from pharma and medtech clients to public sector and global health institutions — to deliver actionable insights.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering technical development and critical thinking.
- Contribute to business growth by identifying client needs and shaping proposals that deliver measurable value.
About You
You’ll bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic mindset, and interpersonal strength. You are someone who:
- Has strong experience in health economic modelling and quantitative analysis.
- Is confident using Excel and one or more statistical tools (e.g. R, Stata, SAS).
- Understands how to apply health economics in real-world contexts — whether for interventions, reimbursement, or policy planning.
- Has prior experience working in a consultancy, commercial, or applied research setting.
- Balances analytical precision with creative problem-solving and a collaborative approach.
- Communicates clearly and confidently — both in technical discussions and client-facing presentations.
What’s on Offer
- Purposeful work – contribute to evidence that drives real health and policy impact.
- Career progression – clear pathways for growth within a high-performing consultancy.
- Empowered environment – space to lead, innovate, and influence strategic direction.
- Collaborative culture – a supportive, inclusive, and dynamic workplace.
Benefits include:
- Competitive salary and bonus potential
- 25 days annual leave
- Private health insurance
- Annual learning & development budget
- Cycle-to-work scheme
- Employee wellbeing and assistance programme
- Hybrid working (minimum two days per week in the London office)
