I am seeking an Engagement Manager to lead Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) projects for private equity and growth investors across biopharma, medtech, diagnostics, and health services. You will own fast-paced, high-stakes projects from scope to Investment Committee readout, working directly with senior investors and internal Partners. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives under pressure, thinks commercially, and can translate complex scientific and market data into clear investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end buy-side and sell-side CDDs (2β6 week cycles)
- Own project structuring, hypotheses, and workplans
- Manage and mentor case teams (2β5 consultants)
- Drive primary research (KOLs, customers, payers)
- Pressure-test market sizing, growth assumptions, and risk scenarios
- Synthesize insights into clear, investment-ready recommendations
- Act as primary day-to-day contact for PE clients
- Support Partners in IC readouts and deal decisioning
Ideal Background
- ~5β8+ years experience in Strategy Consulting
- ~1+ years as an Engagement Manager
- ~ Strong exposure to Commercial Due Diligence
- ~ Life sciences focus (pharma, biotech, medtech, healthcare services)
- ~ Experience leading multiple PE-backed CDDs end-to-end
- ~ Comfortable operating in ambiguous, time-compressed environments
