This is a brand-new role that will see you support the R&D team with human tissue sample management. An Innovative Biotech that are developing assets in the Solid Tumour space.

This will include the oversight of the daily operations of the human tissue repository. In this role, you will be responsible for the acquisition, storage, annotation, quality control, and distribution of human biological samples that support the companies research and development programs.
The position requires a mix of scientific knowledge, operational leadership, and regulatory compliance expertise. This is an ideal role for someone with attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Degree in Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or related field
- Extensive experience in research tissue banking, sample management, and laboratory operations. Industry experience is desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of biospecimen processing and quality assurance practices
- Proven experience working within regulatory frameworks for human biospecimen use
- Proficiency with biobank information management systems (e.g., LIMS)
- Ability to effectively manage sample procurement and operational resources
- Practical experience with laboratory techniques involving biological samples is desirables
- Ability to prioritise conflicting demands
- Ability to work across multiple London sites
