The depth and quality of your drawings will influence how components are manufactured, ensuring they are right first time and minimising costly delays, rework and production issues.
Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you will be involved in delivering bespoke equipment for customers across the UK, Europe and beyond.
Projects range from individual equipment modifications through to complete turnkey process systems, giving you the opportunity to work on a variety of technically interesting engineering challenges.
The Role
As a Project Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take responsibility for the mechanical design and engineering documentation required to deliver customer projects from cradle to grave.
Working closely and cross functionally across all teams ensuring every design is practical, accurate and ready for manufacture.
- Producing and modifying detailed 3D CAD manufacturing drawings using Inventor + Solidworks.

About You
You are an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a meticulous approach to your work and a strong understanding of designing equipment for manufacture.
You appreciate the importance of producing engineering drawings that leave nothing open to interpretation and understand the level of detail required.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related engineering discipline and work experience.
- At least five years’ experience in a mechanical design or project engineering environment.
- Strong CAD experience using Solid Works or Autodesk Inventor.
- Experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings for fabricated components.
