I currently have an opportunity for an electrical or gas site supervisor to work on various military contracts in the Plymouth and surrounding areas, working for one of the largest building services providers in the UK. I'm looking for someone who is either electrically or gas qualified; it does not have to be both.
Duties for the Site Supervisor will include:
- Managing planned and reactive maintenance work across multiple contracts
- Assisting with scheduling work for operatives
- Managing sub-contractors including checking quotes and RAMS
- Carrying out periodic checks of engineers' work
- Preparing toolbox talks, safety meetings, and inductions
- Supporting area manager with engineer interviews
The starting basic salary is £39,000 - £40,000 based on working a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday. Benefits include weekly pay, company van/fuel card, 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a discounted gym membership. Ideally, you will hold a current SMSTS/SSSTS, but this is not essential. You must have either electrical or gas qualifications.
