Region: Greater London area
Contract: Full time, two-year fixed contract with the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the programme subject to appropriate progression on the Graduate scheme.
Lovell is the UK’s leading provider of mixed tenure affordable homes, and we are experiencing substantial growth. We are on the lookout for ambitious, high calibre graduates to join our two-year rotational programme, starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in Design, offering a competitive salary, extensive development opportunities and a chance to gain invaluable hands-on experience.
The Role
During the two years you will work mainly on our sites learning the art and science of design, but also spend placements in the broader business departments (Commercial, Operations and Business Development) to gain an insight into how design integrates into the wider business. Please note that this is a full-time site-based role.
In addition, you will attend graduate programme days at our head office in Tamworth where you will connect with other graduates from around the business, expand your knowledge and develop key professional skills. You will complete the Institute of Leadership and Management’s Level 2 Award in Leadership and Team Skills as an introduction to the world of management in your second year and we will support your progress towards professional membership.
Skills and Experience
Candidates will have graduated in 2024 or be graduating in 2025 and have gained or predicted to gain at least a 2.1 in a related degree such as Architecture or Construction Management. A CIOB approved course would be an advantage.
Successful candidates will have achieved high academic standards as well as being able to demonstrate interest and commitment for a career in the construction industry. We will be looking for evidence of:
