Overview

Disaronno International UK Ltd is the premium spirits business behind iconic brands including Disaronno and Tia Maria, and part of the global ILLVA Saronno Group. Since launching in 2021, the UK business has expanded rapidly across the on-trade, building a diverse portfolio spanning Italian gin, Irish and American whiskey, and English whisky.

This role leads the on-trade field sales team and focuses on distribution, activation and brand advocacy across the portfolio including Disaronno, Tia Maria, Engine Gin; Busker Whisky; Cotswolds Distillery & Sagamore Whisky.

This isn’t an office job. You’ll spend around 80% of your time out in the trade coaching, mentoring, and building capability within your team, while creating meaningful partnerships with key customers nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing team of field-based KAMs across the UK.
  • Create and implement the Independent Free Trade (IFT) strategy for on-trade growth.
  • Deliver world-class execution and brand activation through collaboration with Trade Marketing & Category teams.
  • Champion people development, setting the standard for professionalism, curiosity and care.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years in a senior On-Trade sales/leadership role in beers/wines/spirits.
  • Mastery of the UK On Trade is a key requirement.
  • Proven success launching NPD into the UK On Trade through leadership of a team.
  • Entrepreneurial and ambitious self-starter with the ability to achieve targets and manage own schedule.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders (UK and Global teams).
  • Collaborative and engaging leadership style.
  • Solution-based approach to obstacles.
  • Experience in line management and development of large teams is essential.
