Reporting into and occasionally deputising for the Finance Manager, the Senior Finance Officer role sits within an experienced Finance team and is responsible for finance and compliance tasks to support the Finance Team and the New Museum Project, including performing daily Accounts Payable duties. The role supports the Finance Manager and various other stakeholders, including the Head of Project Accounting, New Museum.

It will perform a key role supporting the financial administration of the New Museum Project, dealing primarily with processing construction works and consultants’ fees, including a wider key role in delivering the Accounts Payable function including invoice processing, BACS payments, reconciliations and delivery of other financial controls processes.

This role will also be responsible for delivering a review of existing Finance Processes and Procedures documentation and updating these to reflect the Finance Function within the New Museum structure.
