Job Description:
As L&D and OD Partner, you will lead and support key initiatives across Learning & Development, Organisational Development, and general People operations. This role focuses on employee development and engagement strategies.

Key tasks include:

  1. Partnering with managers to conduct training needs analysis, inform the organisation’s learning and development strategy, and promote career progression and retention.
  2. Develop and deliver tailored learning solutions to address skill gaps and support employee growth.
  3. Support the People and OD Manager with the delivery of talent management and succession planning initiatives.
  4. Manage and oversee induction programs for new hires, ensuring seamless onboarding experiences.
  5. Support the People and OD Manager in communicating People policy changes through engaging and innovative training programs.
  6. Drive employee engagement initiatives, including annual surveys, and develop strategies to address identified needs.
  7. Manage the learning and development budget in accordance with organisational governance arrangements.
  8. Line management of People/OD Advisor providing guidance and advice on general HR matters, development opportunities, and performance management.
  9. Support equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, including supporting managers with completion of equality impact assessments.
  10. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programmes and adjust strategies to meet evolving organisational needs.
  11. Design, review, and implement Estyn’s benefits package and recognition programs to attract and retain top talent.
  12. Attend relevant internal meetings including committees, boards, and groups and deputise for the People and OD Manager where necessary.
  13. Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required.

Duration: Permanent
Salary: £35,787 – £43,758 per annum
Work hours and flexible working: Full time hours are 37 hours over a five-day week (Monday to Friday), excluding breaks. #J-18808-Ljbffr
