Assistant Shop Manager (Part Time – 21 hours per week)
Salary: £22,932 per year (£12.60 per hour)
Location: Anlaby, Hull, HU10 6UA
Commencing permanently. The role is part‑time for 21 hours per week, with a seven‑day rota and weekend/Bank Holiday coverage expected.

As Assistant Shop Manager at Scope’s Anlaby shop, you will use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Your days will vary from processing stock and designing eye‑catching window displays to recruiting and training volunteers. You may also deputise for and run the shop when the shop manager is absent.
Responsibilities
- Generate and process stock; design eye‑catching window displays.
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteer and shop team members.
- Motivate and lead the shop team and volunteers.
- Support day‑to‑day shop operations.
- Deputise for or run the shop when the manager is absent.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Passion about retail.

Shop Hours & Cover
Scope Charity Shops are open every day. Full‑time staff work 35 hours on a five‑day rota; part‑time staff work a seven‑day rota. Weekend and Bank Holiday cover is required.
