Hackney Empire is looking for a highly organised, proactive and collaborative Programme & Projects Coordinator to join our Programming team. This is a varied coordination role primarily supporting multi-night shows and projects, in-house productions, Creative Development activity and long-term programme planning, alongside the visiting programme.
You will work with Programming, Producing, Creative Development, Technical, Marketing and other internal departments, ensuring that projects, spaces and schedules are planned effectively and that all teams have the information they need.
A significant part of the role will be acting as the Programming point of contact for the Creative Development team, coordinating the long-term planning of their rehearsal, workshop and project space requirements. You will also act as Production Coordinator for selected in-house shows and projects, supporting logistics, schedules and production needs; as well as being a key contact for multi-night shows and projects.
The role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys planning, project coordination and working across departments.
