The Schools Outreach Coordinator is responsible for managing relationships with our key accounts while exploring, researching and building new sales leads across our various theatre education programmes.
The postholder will manage key school accounts, develop new sales leads and support the planning and delivery of integrated sales campaigns. Working closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager, they will report weekly on KPIs and sales targets, maintain accurate Salesforce records, interpret performance data and recommend clear actions to improve results.
They will research and identify new opportunities, including academy trusts, education conferences and sector networks, and build relationships with schools through meetings, calls, email, LinkedIn, events and consistent follow-up. The role will involve understanding each school's needs and barriers, handling objections, designing practical sales proposals and inspiring teachers and students to take part in the Festival, standalone workshops and other projects from 2026 onwards.
The postholder will support the workshop team to upsell bespoke activity, assist with sponsorship and advertising sales, respond to enquiries and maintain positive communication with teachers throughout the sales journey. They will also support departmental administration, processes and systems to maximise impact and return.
The role requires a strong awareness of developments in the UK education sector and the ability to position the charity's work as a solution-focused service. The postholder will act as a positive ambassador for the charity, its schools and young people, while treating everyone with dignity, fairness and respect; challenging discrimination; celebrating diversity; following health and safety procedures; maintaining confidentiality; and complying with data protection and GDPR requirements.
