Location: Monkseaton, Whitley Bay

Hours and Shifts:

  • Saturday & Sunday day shift: 9am - 5pm, 16 hours per week
  • Saturday & Sunday waking night shift: 10pm - 9am, 22 hours per week
  • Holiday cover, variable shifts as required

Pay: £14.25 per hour

Requirements:

  • UK manual driving licence essential
  • Experience supporting a wheelchair user
  • Experience with epilepsy, using a hoist, moving and handling and administering medication essential

Responsibilities:

  • Personal assistants required for waking night and day shifts on Saturday and Sunday, and for holiday cover.
  • Assist a lively, adventurous young gentleman with complex needs, varied interests, big personality, and brilliant sense of humour (2-1 care 24/7).
  • Provide consistent, well‑judged support to ensure safety and promote independence in day‑to‑day life.
  • Work alongside another PA as part of an established friendly professional team.
