My daughter is a lovely, cheeky, cheerful 14-year-old girl with learning disabilities and seeks a PA to help her enjoy some independence away from mum. Whilst she enjoys park visits, swimming, shopping and mostly nosing at other people, she’s become all teenager and struggles to leave the house of home comforts like tv and i-pad. She likes baking and crafting, dancing, singing and playing pretend with babies. She is fully mobile and able bodied and just needs someone with some sense of fun to hang out with and chat nonsense.

Flexible hours are mostly needed in the holidays when mum is working but also every other Sunday if able for about 3 to 4 hours and 3 days a week in the holidays for 3 to 5 hours.

A visit to a café is usually her aim and she likes a variety of food but loves her regular Babyccino and one of her favourite foods is eggs and avocado.

She has a learning disability, including speech and language delay and has limited awareness of danger; therefore, the PA needs to be vigilant with her when out and about at all times.

Ideally, mum would like a PA who is enthusiastic with a genuine interest and enjoyment in working with children and has some experience of caring / working with children but not essential.

A driver would be preferred but not essential, mileage will be reimbursed.

This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS check and references which will be taken up if you are offered the post.

This vacancy will close as soon as a suitable candidate is appointed.

At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
