We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Personal Assistant to support a young child and their mother, who has a physical disability, within their home. This role focuses on helping with the child's daily care and routines, while also providing practical support within the household.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily care of a young child (e.g., dressing, bathing, feeding, playtime).
- Support the mother with physical tasks related to childcare that she is unable to carry out.
- Light household duties related to the child (e.g., tidying play areas, preparing simple meals).
- Accompany the family to appointments, outings, or activities.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Kind, patient, and child focused.
- Trustworthy, punctual.
- Comfortable assisting with physical tasks (a genuine requirement of the role).
- Experience with childcare or support work is helpful but not essential.
- DBS/Background check required (will be provided).
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
- At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
