To support a teenager with autism and an intellectual disability with personal care, having a meal and engaging with activities within the home.
Responsibilities/duties:
- Personal care and toileting as required
- Preparing a simple meal and encouraging oral intake
- Engaging with activities within the home/garden such as art, playing with toys, reading books, Lego etc.
- Occasionally assisting with parent to access the local community
We are looking for:
- Someone caring and trustworthy
- Someone with care experience, particularly supporting people with autism, challenging behaviour and have an awareness of sensory issues
- A car driver is desirable but not essential
