The predicted salary is between 2240 - 2400 £ per month.
Hours: 24‑32 hours available per week. Mixture of day and night shifts, or combined. Shift patterns: 9.45am-6pm or 5.45pm-10am following morning (including a sleep‑in period between 12am‑8am). Possibility of a combined shift over a 24‑hour period. Monthly rosters are supplied.
Rate: £14.00 per hour, rising to £15.00 per hour after successful completion of a 6‑month probationary period. £80 set rate per sleepover (for sleep‑in hours of 12am‑8am). Time and a half for bank holidays.
Area: Hamsterley Mill near Rowlands Gill, Gateshead. Driving licence essential.
Job Role: The client requires support to live her life as independently as possible. She needs 24‑hour care, 7 days a week. Support with personal care, upkeep of home, cooking, medication administration, shopping, appointments, exercise, socialisation and helping to take care of her dogs. Liking dogs is essential. Accompanying the client on trips/holidays is a requirement of the job when necessary. In‑house training is provided. Client uses a wheelchair when out but has walking ability in the house. Client has her own car that the carer will use to transport her, so a clean driving licence is essential. Initial phone interview held prior to offer of an interview in person.
