Overview

We\’re looking for 1 or 2 Personal Assistants to support Dylan to enjoy the activities he loves. Dylan turns 16 this September, is autistic, verbal, physically able, and has a brilliant sense of humour. Dylan attends Applefields School and needs supportive, fun Personal Assistants to help him get out and about. Ideally one PA who can drive, encouraging independence while making things safe & fun, offering reassurance and patience, especially when Dylan feels anxious.

Qualifications

  • Energetic, kind, and fun-loving
  • Enjoys being outdoors and active
  • Happy to get stuck into adventures (and sometimes crafts!)
  • Patient, understanding, and able to give gentle encouragement
  • Experience with autism is great, but willingness to learn is just as good
  • At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
