Job Description:
Location: Great Park, Newcastle upon Tyne
Rates of pay: £15.00 per hour
My son Zak is 11 years old; he is a happy, lively boy who has lots of energy. He loves to be outdoors, especially jumping in muddy puddles and picking up sticks. Other times he likes to relax with his tablet watching his favourite videos. He really enjoys playing with sand and water, anything that is messy. Zak has been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and has sensory processing difficulties. Zak is non-verbal and relies on an adult to problem solve to find out what he needs and to prompt him. Your job will be to support our family with Zak and work towards achieving the best outcomes for him. You must also be prepared and not afraid to get involved in all aspects of personal care.
We consider confidence, resilience, patience, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour to be essential attributes for this job.
We welcome candidates who value and are open to diversity and respect cultural and religious differences.
A driver with a clean driving licence is preferred.
To apply please fill out our online application form.
