Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)

Reporting to: Direct Payment Employer

Location: North Kenton, Newcastle upon Tyne

Hours of work:

6 hours per week during term time
12 hours per week during school holidays

Rate of pay: £13.50 per hour

Job purpose:

To assist with a variety of tasks that enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer:

Shannon has Foetal Alcohol Syndrome and Global Developmental Delay. She is more like a 5-year-old due to severe global developmental delay. Shannon enjoys singing and dancing, and going out to the cinema, park, and McDonald\’s. She requires supervision at all times for safety, as she has no sense of danger or awareness of strangers.

Applicants must have a driving license and own vehicle, as transportation is required for Shannon\’s activities, with mileage paid.
