Hours: 10 hours per week
4 shifts per week 2.5 hours on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening between the hours of 7-9:30pm
Pay rate: £13.80 per hour
Area: Gosforth and Newcastle City Centre
About the role:
A Personal Assistant is required by a man in his early 40s.
You will work as part of a wider care team to promote recovery, keep him safe, and accompany him to appointments if needed. The role requires flexibility but also stability and routine. Companionship is an essential part of the role.
About me:
You will mainly meet me in Newcastle at a coffee shop or a bar. A love of coffee, people watching, and good conversational skills are important. You must be comfortable visiting gay bars in the city centre. I enjoy films and may want to visit the cinema. The role suits someone friendly, understanding, who loves coffee and chatting, and has an interest in films and art.
Awareness of mental health issues is advantageous.
An understanding and acceptance of the LGBTQ community is essential.
