I am looking to employ an experienced Personal Assistant to support me in my home in the Fenham area of Newcastle (not far from the Morrisons store). This role is primarily home-based, but will involve some activity outside the home, such as local errands. The successful applicant will be confident working independently and experienced in providing personal care and domestic support.
Domestic WorkYou will be required to carry out a range of domestic tasks around the home. These will include general cleaning such as dusting, vacuuming, and keeping work surfaces clean and tidy. You will also be responsible for laundry, including washing, drying, and ironing as required. Assistance with meal preparation may be needed, along with support bringing shopping into the home from local stores. Shopping is usually once per week, and a more thorough clean of the house will also be required weekly.
Personal CarePersonal care support will be required during every shift, so applicants must be experienced and comfortable providing personal care. Morning shifts will usually start at around 7:30am to allow me to get up and ready for the day. It is essential that applicants can arrive on time, so this role may be best suited to someone who lives locally or has their own transport to get to and from work.
At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
