Location: Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne

We are looking for a patient, enthusiastic and pro-active Personal Assistant to join an existing team to support my 12-year-old son. He is a happy boy who has learning disabilities and is non-verbal. The main part of this role is to support with going out and about and taking our son to some of his favourite places like the park or the beach. A very important part of your role will be to ensure his safety at all times. Due to the nature of my son's seizures you will work at all times alongside another PA or a member of the family.

If you have previous experience of working with children, children with epilepsy or have CPR training this would be advantageous. However, we are happy to consider applicants with no prior experience. Car owner/driver is preferred but not essential.
