About the Client
The client is an 18-year-old male who is full of energy and humour. He has a diagnosis of autism and severe learning difficulties. He is nonverbal but communicates via a communication aid. He has no sense of danger and may abscond if given the opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Accompany the client on activities outside the home, such as swimming, library visits, the local farm, or play parks.
- Work 2:1 alongside another member of staff.
- Provide a small amount of personal care as required.
- Support safe and enjoyable participation in planned activities while monitoring for risk.
- Additional hours may become available in the near future.
Qualifications
At the start of employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
