- Area : Forest Hall (NE12)
Hours : 10 hours per week (10:30 am – 12:30 pm Monday to Friday) to cover a period of maternity leave from 24th of August 2026 to 9th July 2027.
Ongoing hours may become available once the role is established with regards to sickness, holiday and emergency cover.
Responsibilities
Assist full‑time personal assistant with personal, domestic, and social needs.
Provide a “second pair of hands” to the personal assistant: showering, dressing, grooming, administration of medication, catheter and stoma care, eating and drinking, and responsibility for domestic care and presentation of the home.
Be capable of delivering an exceptional level of performance, adjusting to day‑to‑day changes in the individual’s condition.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Care experience preferred but not essential – professional training will be provided as needed.
- Flexibility, high motivation, and a professional attitude; able to work independently in a casual environment.
- Sense of humour essential.
- Comfortable around dogs (ideal if “doggy person”).
- Must have permission to work in the U. K. at the time of starting employment.
