Disability Equals Ability is seeking a creative and skilled volunteer web designer to help redesign, enhance, and maintain our website.

Your work will directly shape how Disability Equals Ability presents itself to our community, supporters, and funders. By redesigning and maintaining our website, you will help us create an engaging, accessible online presence that communicates our mission and makes it easier for people to connect with our cause. What are we looking for?

  • Web Design and Development: Proved experience with web design and development, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Content Management Systems (CMS): Familiarity with popular CMS platforms like WordPress or other web management tools.
  • User Experience (UX) & User Interface (UI) Design: Ability to create intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing websites.
  • Responsive Design: Experience designing websites that work well across all devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
  • Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with a remote team, especially with our social media team to align on content and branding.
  • Creativity and Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a creative approach to solving design challenges.
  • Flexibility: An openness to receiving feedback and a willingness to adapt designs to meet the charity’s evolving needs.
