Hours: Full Time (30 hours)
We are looking for a proactive and confident Employer Engagement & Training Officer to develop relationships with employers across Gwent and create inclusive employment opportunities for programme participants. You will engage employers, develop work placements and trials, and deliver disability awareness training to support inclusive workplace practices. You will also contribute to group wellbeing workshops for participants and work closely with colleagues to support successful transitions into employment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, building partnerships, and promoting inclusive employment. This role is supported by the National Lottery Fund on a fixed term basis until March 2029.
About You
- Are passionate about supporting people facing barriers to employment
- Have experience working with vulnerable individuals, disabled people, or those with additional support needs
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Are organised, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion
Experience in employability, training delivery, partnership working, or employer engagement would be highly beneficial.
