VocalEyes is an arts organisation and charity that works with and for blind and visually impaired people, creating accessible performances and events for arts and heritage venues across the UK, primarily through audio description and training services.
VocalEyes is seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead our ambitious, 22-month co-created Audio Description project: Describing Heritage, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Working in partnership with museums, heritage sites, and blind and visually impaired communities across the UK, the project will facilitate participants to co-create audio description (AD) for 120 heritage assets.
You’ll bring strong project management and administrative skills, a collaborative approach to working with partners and freelancers, and a passion for access and inclusion in the heritage sector.
This is a London-based post, with remote working and monthly in-person team days. The role includes occasional UK travel to partner hubs.

Contract: Fixed-term appointment for 20 months (minimum)
Start date: As soon as possible (subject to notice period)
Working days: Monday to Friday (some weekend work and travel may be required)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, with some flexibility available. Applications for job share will be considered.
Location: London-based and hybrid.
