The Opportunity
Sonic Bothy is seeking an experienced General Manager who is deeply committed to equality and safeguarding to join our award-winning inclusive music charity. Reporting to the Creative Director and The Board of Trustees, the General Manager is a senior management role that oversees the day-to-day operation of the organisation. The postholder will have strong finance skills and contribute to strategic decision-making and reporting.
This is an exceptionally rewarding role that greatly contributes to our mission advocating for a fairer society, and can make a real difference to the Disabled communities in Scotland and beyond. Sonic Bothy is one of Scotland’s leading arts organisations at the forefront of advocacy for Disabled musicians.
Job Vacancy : General Manager. Employed, permanent with a 6-month probation period.
Salary : £33,000
Hours : 1FTE, 5-days (35 hours) per week. Typical working hours 9am – 5pm.
Benefits : Pension with 3% employer pension contribution. 30 days (1FTE) Annual Leave entitlement inclusive of public holidays. TOIL system in place.
Location : The post is currently predominantly remote working, with the majority of regular in-person meetings and activities taking place in venues in central Glasgow.
