WHO WE ARE
Dirty Bones is where comfort food meets craft cocktails and good music. We're bold, we're flavour-forward, and we take our food seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. At Boxpark, the energy is fast, the crowd is mixed, and the vibe matters as much as the menu. We're looking for someone who gets both.
THE ROLE
This is not a traditional kitchen-only position. We're looking for a skilled chef who is equally comfortable working the pass, plating with precision, and stepping into guest-facing moments when the format calls for it. At Boxpark, the kitchen is visible and the experience is immersive; guests see you, interact with you, and remember you. You'll own your station in the kitchen and take pride in delivering Dirty Bones food to the standard it deserves. But you'll also read a room, engage with guests naturally, handle live queries about allergens or the menu, and represent the brand every time you're in eyeline of a customer.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- In the Kitchen
- Prepare and execute dishes to Dirty Bones spec, consistently and under pressure
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation (HACCP compliant)
- Support mise en place, prep, and service across all shifts
- Communicate clearly with the wider kitchen team during service
- Flag quality or stock issues to the Operations Immediately
- In the Guest Experience
- Engage confidently and warmly with guests in an open-kitchen or counter-service environment
- Respond to menu and allergen questions accurately and with care
- Handle guest feedback professionally escalating where needed
- Contribute to the overall atmosphere and energy of the site during service
- Represent the Dirty Bones brand with personality, pride, and professionalism
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Solid kitchen experience ideally in a fast-paced, quality-led casual dining environment
- A genuine interest in food, flavour, and delivering something guests remember
- Confident and personable comfortable being seen and spoken to during service
- Allergen awareness (Level 2 Food Safety certificate preferred)
- Team player with a positive attitude and resilience under pressure
- Flexibility across weekday and weekend shifts, including evenings
BONUS POINTS FOR
- Experience in an open kitchen or market/street food format
- Knowledge of the Dirty Bones menu or brand
- Any front-of-house experience in a previous role
WHAT YOU GET
- Competitive hourly rate
- Staff meals on shift
- Opportunity to grow within the Dirty Bones family
- A fun, high-energy environment where your personality is an asset, not an afterthought
