The Company Directorbank is a market leading executive search firm which specialises in recruiting board level executives and non-executives for private equity backed businesses in the UK and Europe. Directorbank’s Consultants and Directors are highly experienced sector or functional experts who conduct retained search assignments for their clients, supported by our dedicated team of Researchers.

As part of our ongoing expansion, Directorbank is now looking to hire a Senior Researcher who can support the Consultants and Directors on specific mandates. Based preferably in Yorkshire, you will be home based but with regular trips to our offices in London and Leeds.

In return, Directorbank offers the opportunity to work in a professional and collegiate environment on C-Suite mandates, as well as providing the opportunity to work directly with the private equity community. You will also have the chance to develop your candidate and client facing skills and work closely with a Director who will ensure you are integral to our search process.

The role of Senior Researcher is to:

  • Take ownership of all research conducted on retained assignments, assessing candidate suitability, providing Consultants with candidate long lists and writing reports when required;
  • Attend client meetings with Consultants and be a second point of contact for the client;
  • Assess and suggest candidate suitability on retained assignments to Consultants;
  • Assist with candidate interviews;
  • Run entire client and candidate mapping programmes across sectors.

You will have:

  • a minimum of two years as a Researcher in an executive search company;
  • a zest for problem solving and an ability to think creatively;
  • a can-do attitude, positive attitude; an interest in a multitude of businesses;
  • first class written and communication skills;
  • a strong academic record;
  • ambition, drive and a sense of humour;
