Directly Apply develops job matching technology.

We build advanced user features, data extraction, algorithmic matching, and intelligent user experience and engagement systems.

From feed importing and data enrichment through to geolocation, skills extraction and matching, we go deeper to understand the motivations behind every job application.

Our core product is directlyapply. com, which millions of job seekers across North America use every year to discover their next job.

We're a small, technical, AI-first team, and we've spent 8 years building the data and matching engine underneath it.

The Role

In 2027 we're releasing our biggest move yet: a launch we believe will transform how people find jobs around the world. We want you to help us get the word out.

We're looking for a growth and performance marketing executive who is creative and enjoys getting stuck into the data and strategy that will bring the next million users to our products.

You'll write and launch campaigns, test ideas quickly, and use the numbers to decide what to scale and what to cut.

You'll work directly with the founder, and wider product / engineering team, with real budget and room to try new channels.

Working pattern: Hybrid

What you’ll do

  • Own the paid acquisition budget across Meta, Google, and new channels you choose to test.
  • Build and maintain cohort analysis in SQL: cost per user, revenue per cohort, payback period and LTV by channel, campaign and creative.
  • Decide where the next dollar goes, and make the case for shifting spend between channels with numbers, not instinct.
  • Protect lead quality. Spot fake, duplicate and bot-driven sign-ups, push back on partners when quality slips, and help design real-time validation at ingestion.
  • Run a steady cadence of experiments on audiences, creative, landing pages and onboarding, and report what moved the numbers.
  • Use AI tools daily: generating and iterating creative, writing and debugging SQL, automating reporting, and building lightweight internal tools where they save time.
  • Work with engineering on tracking, attribution and the event data that feeds your analysis.
  • Report weekly on spend, payback and channel health in a way the whole team can act on.

Ideally, you’ll have

  • Experience creating and running ads on Meta and Google, or other social platforms such as Tik Tok, Linked In or Reddit.
  • A basic understanding of SQL, or the confidence to get there by prompting Claude or other AI tools. You'll pull your own numbers rather than wait for a report.
  • A creative eye for ads: hooks, copy and visuals, plus the habit of testing lots of variations to find what works.
  • Curiosity about why a campaign worked, not just whether it did, and a feel for cost per user and return on spend.
  • Everyday use of AI tools to write, design, analyse and automate your work.
  • Clear communication and the drive to own your results in a small team.
