Main Description:

Assist in loading, unloading, receipting and dispatch of goods. Picking and packing, storing goods,
Responsible for:
•
Loading and unloading of goods to include conditions and quantity checks
•
Check goods against purchase order
•
Picking and packing of goods based on delivery notes issues
•
Booking goods in to correct bin location
•
Dispatching correct goods to correct destination using carriers or own transport
•
Following all ISO procedures appertaining to the warehousing function
•
Performing vehicle visual safety checks prior to driving daily
•
Using forklift truck equipment to carry out duties
•
Adherence to Health and Safety regulations
•
Stock takes at a frequency and time to be determined by the company’s needs
•
Any other duties as directed from time to time by management
Communication Lines:
•
All matters through the Warehouse Manager
•
Complete awareness of all ISO routines affecting warehouse work
•
Basic understanding of units of measure
•
Reasonable levels of literacy and numeracy
•
Forklift operators’ certificate
•
Working at height regulations
•
