We are seeking a compassionate Health Care Assistant - HCA, to provide essential assistance and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, or home care.
Location: Bexhill
Shifts: 8am - 8pm/8pm - 8am
Salary: £14ph - £16ph + accrued holiday pay
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily tasks including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medication following prescribed schedules
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised environment
Skills:
- Experience in patient care, hospice care, or childcare is advantageous
- Proficient in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Strong communication skills and a caring demeanour are essential for this role
- Experience in Stoma and Gastric Drainage Bag
- Being a driver is essential
