Direct Accident was formed in 1996 to help clients who had been involved in road traffic accidents caused by another party. We’ve helped thousands of clients by taking away the worry and inconvenience that result from an accident caused by somebody else. We operate from a number of sites across the UK and are proud of the 200+ people in our team.
Our drivers are key people in that team – delivering, collecting and swapping motorcycles at client’s homes across the North of England – often the only face to face contact that our clients have with us.
Drivers support our 7 day a week operation and will be required to work 5 days out of 7 on a rota that includes weekends, with start times between 06:00-10:00 each morning for a 9-hour shift.
We also offer the opportunity to work additional overtime hours during our busy periods.
Your time off is important to us, annual leave is 20 days per year plus bank holidays or time off in lieu if you are scheduled to work.
Responsibilities include:
· Completing daily roadworthiness checks for our vehicles
· Driving safely to deliver/collect or swap hire vehicles
· Ensuring accurate completion of all rental documents
· Completing a driver checklist on all new hires, swaps and collections
· Supporting our client understand the paperwork and the paperwork process
· Completing theft report forms and accident report forms
· Taking photos of client documents if necessary and downloading within 48 hours
· Completing a daily timesheet, logging all movements and times, throughout the day
· Performing a vehicle damage check on all vehicles
· Driving vehicles to and from dealerships or body shops where necessary
· Ensuring appropriate PPE is worn whilst moving vehicles and on site
About You:
· You must be at least 25 years old (for insurance reasons)
· Full UK Car and Motorcycle Licence holder
· No more than 6 points on your driving licence – and limited to only SP/MW/PC/TS categories
· A can-do self-starting approach to your day
