Your role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business across multiple sectors. Your goal will be to grow relationships with new businesses to promote and recommend our services, whilst providing a first-class service. You will preferably have experience selling a solution or service and can demonstrate success and target achievement in previous roles.

  • Generate new business opportunities with prospective clients by targeting opportunities within your area.
  • Take ownership of the entire sales process, from generating leads and promoting our services to fostering business relationships and establishing agreements.
  • Build a strong network of relevant opportunities to deliver against sales targets.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of our service and industry by working closely with our trainers and colleagues.
  • Liaise with existing accounts to ensure a smooth and professional handover happens between McAMS and the client.
  • Attend events to network and create leads, and generate new business within your area.

Requirements

  • 2 years + experience within a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the motorcycle industry is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets in business development / new business environment.
  • Excellent selling skills built on trust and reliability.
  • Proven ability to identify and develop new business.
  • Proven understanding of sales tools and how to use them to build and plan for success.
  • A full UK Driving & Motorcycle licence.
  • Passion for anything two wheels.
