We are looking for multiple skilled Lightning Protection Engineers to join our growing team. The role involves the installation, testing, maintenance, and inspection of lightning protection & earthing systems, ensuring compliance with BS EN 62305 and relevant industry standards. This is a hands‑on position that requires both technical knowledge and practical site experience. You will work on a wide variety of projects throughout the UK and Ireland, from new installations on large-scale construction sites to periodic inspections and upgrades on existing buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and test lightning protection system to BS EN 62305.
- Supply & installation of earthing systems.
- Perform annual testing and certification of existing systems.
- Produce accurate site reports and documentation.
- Work at height safely and competently using appropriate access equipment.
- Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements at all times.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as Lightning Protection Engineer or experience with lightning protection and earthing installation.
- Strong knowledge of BS EN 62305 standards.
- Experience with brazing & exothermic welding.
- Ability to work at height.
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- IPAF Working at Heights.
- NVQ Level 3 in Lightning Protection Engineering (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
