We are looking for multiple skilled Lightning Protection Engineers to join our growing team. The role involves the installation, testing, maintenance, and inspection of lightning protection & earthing systems, ensuring compliance with BS EN 62305 and relevant industry standards. This is a hands-on position that requires both technical knowledge and practical site experience. You will work on a wide variety of projects throughout the UK and Ireland, from new installations on large-scale construction sites to periodic inspections and upgrades on existing buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain and test lightning protection system to BS EN 62305.
  • Supply & installation of earthing systems.
  • Perform annual testing and certification of existing systems.
  • Produce accurate site reports and documentation.
  • Work at height safely and competently using appropriate access equipment.
  • Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements at all times.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as Lightning Protection Engineer or experience with lightning protection and earthing installation.
  • Strong knowledge of BS EN 62305 standards.
  • Experience with brazing & exothermic welding.
  • Ability to work at height.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • IPAF Working at Heights.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Lightning Protection Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
