Direct Staff UK is a GLAA-licensed recruitment agency supplying temporary labour to the UK's leading food producers. We're growing in Scotland and need an Account Manager to run the site.
The job involves:
- Filling every shift, keeping the client happy, and maintaining clean paperwork.
- Hitting fulfilment KPIs: headcount, attendance, punctuality, retention.
- Planning labour against the client's production forecast and flexing it daily.
- Recruiting, screening, conducting right-to-work checks, inducting, and onboarding.
- Managing absence, conduct, and worker welfare on site.
- Keeping timesheets and payroll accurate; resolving pay queries on the same day.
- Owning GLAA and audit compliance.
- Reporting weekly KPIs and leading the client review.
You should have:
- On-site or high-volume industrial recruitment experience, or a supervisory role in food production, manufacturing, or logistics.
- A proven record of hitting fulfilment or attendance targets.
- Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and the ability to remain unfazed by pressure.
- Confidence in dealing with clients at management level.
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility on shifts.
