The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
This position is based at our MRF plant in Sheffield S4. The working hours are 17.30 till 05.30 on a 4 on 4 off rota.
As an MRF Shift Supervisor at DSM recycling facility in Sheffield, you will be contributing to an ever-growing established company that is helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.
What will I be doing as a MRF Supervisor?
- Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be supervising the shift operations at a busy MRF.
- Day-to-day management of a small team alongside the operations manager.
- Assist site management to ensure daily production targets are achieved and provide daily feedback on performance to teams.
- Ensure the 2hr clean down is carried out to a high standard.
- Ensure the segregation of all recyclable materials at the facility is maximised.
- Control Housekeeping activities to ensure all are carried out in a safe manner and conform to the Safe Systems of Work and Company Policies.
- Promote a culture and operating process that keeps focus on health and safety.
- Ensure all work equipment within their area is used and maintained in a safe manner, all defects reported, and a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
- Ensuring that DSM complies fully with its legal duties.
