Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible CCTV Control Room Operator to oversee processing surveillance operations within our facility.
We are a recycling company running a MRF plant with convayors carring product through the plant separating it into cardboard /plastic and metal
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring multiple camera feeds.
responsibilities
- Monitor live CCTV footage across various camera feeds watching convayor belts to detect blockages of product throughout the plant.
- Record and document incidents accurately through report writing, ensuring detailed accounts of events are maintained.
- Respond swiftly to blockages or emergencies using radios
- Maintain the CCTV equipment, ensuring all systems are operational and reporting any faults or malfunctions promptly.
- Collaborate with plant personnel and other relevant departments to coordinate responses to incidents.
- Conduct routine checks of surveillance systems and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Keep a detailed log of activities during shifts, including any unusual occurrences or operational issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in surveillance or security operations is preferred.
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and accurately.
- Basic first aid certification is desirable, with willingness to undertake training if necessary.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
